Welcome!

Welcome to Seabury's Physical Education Web Site! In our physical education classes we take play seriously. It is through play that we learn about ourselves, connect with others, build skills and grow self-confidence. The goals for our physical education program mirror National Standards and goals established by The National Association for Sport and Physical Education: To develop physically educated individuals who have the knowledge, skills and confidence to enjoy a lifetime of healthful physical activity.

Our students are making great strides in jogging. Many children are earning "Twinkle Toes" now which means they have surpassed 10 miles.
We've been mixing holidays with and without music. Children have learned variations of The Bunny Hop and Hora, played a variety of tag games with eggs, practiced their jump rope, cooperation and support skills. The Explorers have been learning volleyball skills and have played variations of that great beach game.
Have a great spring break everyone. Play outside and have a fun and safe week.
